Overview
The Maptaskr Provider is included by default with Maptaskr Power Maps and delivers a set of core mapping services designed to support standard operational use of the product. These services are hosted and operated by Maptaskr and are intended to provide a convenient, out-of-the-box experience for customers without requiring additional third-party service plans.
The Maptaskr Provider includes:
- Address search and location search
- Region search services
- Base map tile services
Address and location search capabilities are based on open data sources and may not provide the same accuracy, coverage, or service-level guarantees as commercial mapping providers.
Acceptable Usage Policy
The Maptaskr Provider services are provided exclusively for use within the Maptaskr Power Maps product by licensed users. Use of these services is limited to supporting normal, day-to-day operational activities of the product, including interactive map usage, searching, visualization, and standard business workflows.
Acceptable usage is defined as reasonable, proportional consumption of map tiles, address searches, and region queries that aligns with typical user-driven interactions within the Maptaskr Power Maps user interface. The services are not intended for bulk processing, automated extraction, data harvesting, load testing, or use outside of the Maptaskr application context.
To ensure service reliability and equitable access for all customers, Maptaskr reserves the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns across all Maptaskr Provider services;
- Apply usage limits or throttling where consumption exceeds reasonable operational use;
- Temporarily suspend or terminate access to the services if usage adversely impacts service performance or other customers. Access will be reinstated once usage has been reduced to acceptable levels.
Development and Production Use
The Maptaskr Provider is available at no additional cost for:
- Development and testing environments; and
- Small to moderate production workloads that fall within acceptable usage thresholds.
Where usage of the Maptaskr Provider services materially impacts platform performance, infrastructure costs, or the experience of other customers, Maptaskr reserves the right to suspend access to the affected services until such time as usage is reduced to acceptable levels.
