Setup Wizard

The Setup Wizard is the fastest way to get Maptaskr Power Maps ready in a new environment. It guides you through licensing, user assignment, and installing required default packages so you can start using the map immediately.

Using the Wizard​

If this is your first time activating Power Maps in an environment, open the Maptaskr Power Maps app after installation. You will see a welcome prompt that launches the Setup Wizard.

Follow each step in order. The wizard installs and configures the required Maptaskr components for you. If you get stuck, refresh the page to restart the wizard.

You will complete the following steps:

  1. Welcome Review the introductory information before continuing.

  2. Register for a license Enter details about your organization and primary contact.

  3. Apply your license After registration, you will receive an email with a registration action. Open it, copy your license key, return to the wizard, and paste the key into the License field.

  4. License assignment Assign Maptaskr seats to users and teams who need access to the map.

  5. Default package installation Accept the terms and install the required packages, including default configuration profiles, layers, and basemaps.

When the wizard is complete and you select Finish, your environment is ready with an out-of-the-box, usable map experience for both users and administrators.
