What updates does Maptaskr provide?
Maptaskr follows a structured product update process, offering:
- Major Releases (Customer Releases): Feature-rich updates typically issued twice per year
- Minor Releases: Targeted updates for enhancements or urgent bug fixes
- Hotfixes: Interim patches for critical issues, provided on an as-needed basis
These releases ensure Maptaskr remains compatible with Microsoft Power Platform changes and continuously improves functionality and stability.
Keeping your Maptaskr solution current with Major Releases ensures compatibility with the Microsoft Power Platform and helps maintain long-term stability and supportability.
Release Cycle and frequency

Minor Releases do not undergo the same level of regression testing as Major Releases. Customers are strongly advised to validate these releases in a sandbox or non-production environment before applying them to production.
How Are Customers Notified?
Maptaskr sends release notices to nominated customer contacts when a new release is available.
Each release notice includes:
- Summary of changes
- Release notes
- Deployment instructions (if required)
- Access to relevant solution files
Microsoft is currently previewing automated update notifications through the Power Platform Admin Center. Maptaskr will support this functionality once it becomes generally available.
Where to Access Updates
- Major Releases (for Dynamics 365 and Power Apps) are published on Microsoft AppSource.
- Minor Releases and Hotfixes are distributed directly to customers via downloads area (../downloads) download links.
- The latest files for Maptaskr Power Maps can be accessed from the Downloads.
