Platform Configuration

Before installing Maptaskr Power Maps manually, you must configure two key settings in your Microsoft environment:

1. File Attachment Size – Increase the maximum file size limit.

2. Power Apps component framework for canvas apps – Enable PCF for canvas pages.

• These configurations are mandatory prerequisites when installing manually, if you are installing through Marketplace these configurations are done automatically.

Configure File Attachment Size

Power Platform Admin Settings (New)

The file size limit is configured from the Power Platform admin center.
Go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ and open the Environments tab.

1. Select Manage then select your environment.

2. Go to Settings > Email.

3. Select Email Settings.

4. At the bottom left, update Maximum file size for attachments to 102_400_000 KB (100 MB).

5. Click Save.

Power Platform Admin Settings

The file size limit is configured from the Power Platform admin center.
Navigate to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ → Environments.

1. Select your environment.

2. Go to Settings > Email.
   

3. Select Email Settings.

4. At the bottom left, update Maximum file size for attachments to 25,600 KB.
   

Classic Style Settings

The file size limit can also be configured from the legacy System Settings page.

To access Classic Settings from a Model-Driven App:

• Click the cogwheel in the top right.
• Select Advanced Settings.

To access Classic Settings from the Power Platform admin center:

1. Select your environment → Settings.
   

2. Open Resources > All legacy settings.
   

Once inside:

1. Go to Settings > Administration.
   

2. Open System Settings (top-right).
   

3. On the Email tab, set Maximum file size for attachments to 25,600 KB.

Enable Power Apps component framework for canvas apps

Power Platform Admin Settings (New)

The Power Apps component framework for canvas apps is enabled via the Power Platform admin center. This is required to use Maptaskr Power Maps within canvas pages.

1. Navigate to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/.

2. Select Manage then select your environment.

3. Navigate to Settings > Product > Features.

4. Scroll down to Power Apps component framework for canvas apps.

5. Toggle On and click Save.
