Map Selection

After loading a layer onto the map, you can select one or multiple features to view their attributes and perform actions.

Single Feature Selection

  1. Ensure a layer or shape is available on the map. Zoom in to the feature you want to select.

  2. Click the feature to open the attributes panel (indicating one feature is selected).

  3. To hide the attributes panel without deselecting the feature, select Show Attributes on the right. Select again to reopen.

  4. To deselect the feature, click Clear Selection.

Multi Feature Selection

  1. Hold the Shift key and click each feature you want to select. You can also select a cluster of features if they are close together.

  2. All selected features appear in the Selected Features panel, grouped by layer.

  3. To view attributes of a specific feature, select it from the list.

  4. If actions are configured, menu buttons will appear for multi-actions (next to the layer/group) and single actions (next to each row).

  5. To hide the attributes panel without deselecting features, select Show Attributes on the right. Select again to reopen.

  6. To deselect all features, click Clear Selection.

Selected Feature Panel

When you select one or multiple features, you can keep the selection active while collapsing the attributes panel to free up map space. Use the Show Attributes button in the map controls to toggle the panel open or closed without clearing the selection.

Quick reference:

  • Collapse: Click Show Attributes to hide the panel (selection stays active).
  • Expand: Click Show Attributes again to reopen it.
  • Clear: Use Clear Selection if you want to remove all selected features.
