Map Filter
Maptaskr Power Maps supports several types of map filters to help you focus on the most relevant data. Below is an overview of each filter type, with descriptions and links to more details.
Layer Filters
Each map layer can be filtered using the “Filter Layer” option. This opens a modal where you can set field, comparison, and value for filtering. You can choose to match all criteria or any (partial match), making it easy to drill down into specific subsets of your spatial data.

Shape Filters
Shapes you draw or upload can be used as spatial filters. The “Use as Filter” option allows you to visualize only the data that falls within a specific shape, making spatial analysis and area-based queries straightforward.

Map Filters (Interactive/On-Map)
Map filters can be applied directly from search results. After searching for a location, address, region, layer, or feature, you can use the “Use as Filter” option to create a filter. The filter modal lets you set buffer distance, units, and conditions. Filters are stacked, and only the most recent can be edited or removed.

Config Manager Filters (Pre-Configured)
Filters can also be set up in advance using the Config Manager. These filters are automatically applied when the map loads, ensuring that only relevant data is shown from the start.
