Power Pages
When you install a Power Pages solution accelerator, it automatically provisions a new Power Pages site tailored for your organization’s needs. This site is designed to accelerate your deployment by including essential, ready-to-use features:
- Interactive Map Component: Empowers users to visualize, search, and interact with spatial data directly within the portal, supporting tasks such as location selection, asset viewing, and spatial analysis—all seamlessly integrated into the site experience.
- Multi-Step Map-Enabled Form: A guided, user-friendly form that showcases how maps can enhance data entry and workflows in a portal. The form leverages the map for address selection, geolocation, or spatial validation, demonstrating real-world scenarios where mapping adds value to business processes.
By default, the newly created Power Pages site is not enabled for public or user access. You will need to activate the site before it becomes accessible to users. Activation steps are typically required to finalize setup and make the site available.
This streamlined setup helps you get started quickly with a functional site, reducing the time and effort needed for manual configuration.
Field Service
When you install the Field Service solution accelerator, it configures Maptaskr Power Maps to enhance spatial visibility across core Field Service entities. The accelerator is designed to support operational planning, dispatch, and on-the-ground execution through the following features:
- Preconfigured Entity Layers and Actions: Installs ready-to-use map layers and contextual actions for Customer Assets, Functional Locations, Organizational Units, Resources, and Work Orders, enabling users to visualize and interact with field data geographically without manual configuration.
- Interactive Dashboard Map: Adds an interactive map to the Dynamics 365 Field Service dashboard and the Field Service mobile app, allowing dispatchers and field technicians to view assets, resources, and work orders spatially to support efficient scheduling and real-time decision-making.
- Record-Level Map Integration: Embeds record-level maps directly into Customer Asset, Functional Location, and Work Order forms, providing immediate geographic context for individual records and improving situational awareness during service planning and execution.
This configuration accelerates the adoption of map-based workflows in Field Service, reducing setup time while improving operational efficiency and visibility.
Sales
The Sales solution accelerator configures Maptaskr Power Maps to provide geographic insights into customer and pipeline data, helping sales teams better understand territory distribution and opportunity coverage. Upon installation, the accelerator delivers the following capabilities:
- Preconfigured Sales Entity Layers and Actions: Installs predefined map layers and actions for Accounts, Bookings, Competitors, Contacts, and Leads, allowing sales users to explore and analyze key sales data spatially with minimal setup.
- Interactive Sales Dashboard Map: Adds an interactive map to the Dynamics 365 Sales dashboard, complete with predefined layers for Leads, Competitors, Contacts, and Accounts, enabling users to visualize market presence, pipeline density, and competitive landscape at a glance.
- Record-Level Map Integration: Embeds record-level maps within Account, Competitor, and Lead records, giving sales users immediate geographic context for individual customers and prospects to support informed engagement and territory planning.
This accelerator helps sales teams quickly unlock location-based insights, improving visibility, planning, and decision-making across the sales lifecycle.
