Data Validation

Software Version​

The Data Validation area in the Maptaskr Power Maps Package Manager allows administrators to easily monitor the current software version installed in their environment and verify whether it is the latest available release. This helps ensure your solution is always up to date, secure, and running with the latest features and bug fixes.

How It Works​

  • The Data Validation screen displays the current software version for your Maptaskr Power Maps installation.
  • The version label will indicate the release type:
    • BETA: e.g., BETA_1.0.4.199 (for beta/testing releases)
    • RC: e.g., RC_1.0.4.199 (for release candidate/pre-release versions)
    • PROD: e.g., 1.0.4.199 (for production/stable releases)
  • The system automatically checks if your installed version matches the latest available version.
  • The status will show as either:
    • Up to Date: You are running the latest version.
    • Out of Date: A newer version is available, and you should consider updating.

Why This Matters​

Staying current with the latest version ensures you benefit from new features, performance improvements, and important security updates. The Data Validation area makes it simple for administrators to track and manage their solution version at a glance.

If your status shows "Out of Date," visit the Downloads section or contact your administrator to download and install the latest package.
