Predefined Shapes
Predefined shapes allow administrators to create, style, and configure shapes that users can draw or upload onto the map. By setting up predefined shapes, you can control the available tools, appearance, and default attributes for each shape type, ensuring consistency and streamlining the user experience.

| Shape Name | Specify a unique name for the predefined shape that will identify it in the system. | 
| Max Number of Features | Set the maximum number of features within a the shape that can be created for this predefined shape (0 = unlimited). | 
| Fill Color | Configure the interior fill color of the shape using the color picker. | 
| Stroke Color | Set the border/outline color of the shape using the color picker. | 
| Stroke Type | Choose the line style for the shape border (Solid, Dashed, etc.). | 
| Stroke Width | Define the thickness of the shape border (measured in pixels). | 
| Text Color | Set the color for any text labels that will appear on the shape. | 
| Text Shadow | Enable or disable shadow effects for text labels on the shape. | 
| Font Size | Configure the size of text that appears on the shape. | 
| Override style of Uploaded files | When checked, applies the predefined style settings to shapes uploaded from external files. | 
Shape Features
The Shape Editing Tools panel lets you control which editing and drawing features are available to users when they interact with shapes on the map. You can enable or disable specific tools to match your organization’s needs.

To enable or disable a tool, simply check or uncheck the corresponding box. Only the tools you enable will be available to users when they are editing or creating shapes on the map.
Shape Attributes
The Shape Attributes tab allows you to define default attribute values that will be automatically applied to new features created with this predefined shape. This ensures consistency and can pre-populate commonly used data fields.

| Add area or length to shape as attribute | When enabled, automatically calculates and adds area (for polygons) or length (for lines) as an attribute to each shape. You can choose the units: m² or m for area/length measurements. | 
| Custom Attributes | Define custom name-value pairs that will be applied to all new shapes created with this predefined shape. | 
Adding Custom Attributes

In the Attribute Name field, enter the name for your custom attribute

In the Attribute Value field, enter the default value for this attribute

Click the + button to add the attribute to the list

Repeat for additional attributes as needed
 
Area/Length Calculation
- Checkbox: Enable "Add area or length to shape as attribute" to automatically calculate geometric measurements
 - Units for Area: Choose between m² (square meters) and other area units from the dropdown
 - Units for Length: Choose between m (meters) and other length units from the dropdown
 
These default attributes will be applied to every new feature created with this predefined shape. Users can still modify these values later if the shape editing tools allow attribute changes.
